Since its inception 19 years ago, the highly successful, globetrotting SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR has never forgotten its roots and or destitution that surrounds them, thus the Nkosi’s Haven Vukani Trust was formed whereby the choir raises funds through collections after performances when travelling internationally.
The funds are for registered township-based organizations, that need support. No money is handed over but supplies are bought against the needs expressed by that organization, which is anything from food for the children they serve, plastic tables and chairs for pre-schools, funerals and kitchen appliances for soup kitchens and child-feeding schemes.
COVID-19 has sadly put a halt to any fundraising opportunities for the Soweto Gospel Choir as they have been unable to tour. Requests are pouring in for support which sadly cannot be honoured. Thus, any support you can offer to the Vukani Trust is gratefully accepted and sincerely appreciated.
